{"id":75,"date":"2020-03-09T19:24:56","date_gmt":"2020-03-09T19:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sylwiadesign.com\/?page_id=75"},"modified":"2020-03-20T06:40:34","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T06:40:34","slug":"gallery-gachet","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sylwiadesign.com\/?page_id=75","title":{"rendered":"Gallery Gachet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For more than 8 years I have had the pleasure of working as<br>a communications and design coordinator at Gallery Gachet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:0\">Gallery Gachet is a unique artist-run centre located in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood of Vancouver, the unceded territories of the xwm\u0259\u03b8kw\u0259y\u2019\u0259m (Musqueam), Skwxw\u00fa7mesh (Squamish), and S\u0259l\u0313\u00edlw\u0259ta\u0294\/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Gallery Gachet is a collectively-run exhibition space built to empower participants as artists, administrators and curators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Achievements during those years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Designed posters, flyers, handouts, newsletters and more depending on gallery&#8217;s programming needs.<\/li><li>Improved design and layout of the hard copy newsletter making it easier to fill in content.<\/li><li>Infused monthly newsletter with an inspiring unique style showcasing current exhibitions and events.<\/li><li>Managed Gallery Gachet&#8217;s social media platforms such as website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Flickr by keeping them up to date with all important information.<\/li><li>Took photographs during opening nights and posted them on Gallery Gachet&#8217;s Flickr account.<\/li><li>Designed three promotional brochures that introduced the gallery<br>to the audience and included artists\u2019 biographies and photographs of their art.<\/li><li>Designed an anniversary catalog which provided information about Gallery Gachet\u2019s history, development and list of artists involved with the gallery.<\/li><li>Designed exhibition catalog &#8220;Nothing About Us Without Us&#8221; which is documenting process and exhibition of group of artists from gallery.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
