Sitter Fix (school project)
Sitter Fix is a startup that will connect babysitters with families, greatly reducing the stress of both the families and the sitters. Carefully vetted babysitters, happy families. Reliable, easy to use, affordable.
SitterFix Logo
I designed the logo for Sitter Fix by contrasting two weights from Myriad Pro Family font. By using Myriad Pro Light for “Sitter” I wanted to make the word appear lighter and more cheerful. As for “Fix” I used Myriad Pro Semibold to emphasize the idea of finding a solution, fixing a problem – in this case to find a perfect babysitter.
This contrast allows the placement of those two words close to each other but still easy to read. Additionally both parts of the company name are connected by colourful dots – which exaggerated the dots used for letters “i” underlining connection between two elements.
Website and Mobile App Layouts
I designed the clean easy-to-navigate website with the minimalistic use of graphical elements to help visitors find information without being distracted. The main decorative elements/accents are dots which use the colours from the logo.
To integrate all pages I incorporated the dots arch from the logo as the main decorative element.
